The 2022 Desert AIDS Walk returns to Ruth Hardy Park!
Our community’s largest gathering of HIV advocates comes together on Saturday, October 29, 2022, to walk toward ending the HIV and AIDS epidemics in the Coachella Valley and to promote health equity and health justice. The 2022 Desert AIDS Walk, presented by Desert Care Network, will be an in-person event beginning at Ruth Hardy Park and following a route through downtown Palm Springs. This family and pet-friendly event include a Health and Wellness Village presented by Walgreens.
The annual Desert AIDS Walk helps fund the vital work of DAP Health.
“Join us! Walk and raise your voice for Health Justice and LGBTQ+ Rights. Lace up your walking shoes, join arms with your community and be an advocate for change. Together we will end epidemics whether HIV, COVID or Monkeypox.” - DAP Health CEO David Brinkman.

Schedule: 7:30 AM till 1:00 PM
Registration: Opens at 7:30 AM
Urban Yoga (Bring your own mat and towel) starts at 7:30 AM
Program: Starts at 7:55 AM
Wellness Village: Opens at 8 AM till 1 PM
Dunk Tank: Starts at 10:30 AM till 1 PM
Walk: Will start approximately at 9 AM. Total walk is around 3 miles.

Whether you start a team or walk as an individual, every step and dollar raised makes an impact in the lives of people living with HIV. Every year, Desert AIDS Walk participants raise significant funds and awareness for the End the HIV Epidemic movement, while celebrating survivors, and honoring lives lost to AIDS.
